What RankBarn is

RankBarn is a ranking and related-tools product. It is not a music store, streaming service, or radio station. We do not sell Apple Music content, artwork, or data. Song names, art, links, and short preview clips come from Apple Music so you can identify the songs you are ranking.

Apple Music

RankBarn is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Song, album, and artist information, artwork, and preview clips are provided by Apple Music and remain the property of Apple and its licensors. RankBarn does not give you any rights to that content.

Preview clips are short samples, provided courtesy of Apple Music, streamed from Apple's servers when you press play. They are never downloaded or stored by RankBarn and are there to help you identify and discover songs, each with a link to that song on Apple Music. They are not a standalone player. Music links open Apple Music, and your use of Apple Music is covered by Apple's own terms.

Accounts and age

You must be at least 13 to create an account. You can try limited features as a guest. Keep your password private and your account to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under it. Give accurate sign-up details and do not impersonate anyone with your username, display name, or photo.

Your lists and profile

You own the ranking order and text you write. You give RankBarn permission to store them and, based on the visibility you choose, to show them on public links, your profile, feeds, artist pages, community stats, and share images. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already downloaded or shared. Do not post anything illegal or that you do not have the right to share.

Community rules

Do not harass, threaten, or impersonate people, post hateful or sexual content, spam, or use profiles, usernames, or list titles to mislead others. You can block profiles and report lists or profiles from the site. We review reports and may hide or remove content, reset a username, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site, use bots or scripts to create rankings, record or download preview clips, get around rate limits, paywalls, or security, or try to reach accounts or data that are not yours. Do not use RankBarn in a way that would break Apple's or our other providers' terms.

Guest use

Guest rankings stay on this device until you export or save them. Clearing site data or switching devices can reset guest progress.

RankBarn Plus

The core ranking flow stays free, including guest rankings. RankBarn Plus is an optional paid subscription for RankBarn software features such as private/unlisted lists, richer profiles and themes, premium share cards, and a Plus badge. Plus is not a purchase of Apple Music content, does not unlock music files, and does not change which songs, artwork, or previews you can access.

Payments are processed by Stripe. The price and billing period are shown before you subscribe, and taxes may apply where required. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can manage or cancel in Settings through the Stripe billing portal. After you cancel, Plus generally remains available until the end of the paid period, then free-tier limits apply. Deleting your account cancels Plus immediately, without a refund for the unused part of the period.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law; if you think you were charged in error, contact us from the email on your account and we will review in good faith. We may change Plus features or prices; a price change applies from your next billing period after we tell you about it, and you can cancel before then.

Ending your account

You can stop using RankBarn at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk. The sections on your content, Apple Music, and the service continue to apply after an account ends.

The service

We provide RankBarn as-is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. Catalogs, clips, and search come from third parties and can be incomplete, change, or be unavailable. We may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, RankBarn is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost lists beyond what the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use RankBarn after that means you accept the updated terms.
